Soccer: Success for the Girls and Loss for the Boys

In this past week, the boys and girls soccer team played one game each. They both faced Victor Valley, the schools rival. However, the outcome of the two games were much different. The girls played a good game and won by a shutout. The boys on the other hand, lost their game, and the team was not satisfied.

Starting off with the girls game, the final score was 1-0. The girls de

fense was strong and they didn’t let the opposition through once. Alyssa Gatti scored the only goal of the game. It was a fabulous game for the Lady Aztecs and they were very satisfied with the outcome.

On the contrary, for the boys, the game against Victor Valley was not their best performance. The final score was 3-1. The game was going downhill from pretty much the beginning. The team was playing separately and the team was blaming each other for the mistakes they were making.

The seasons are coming to an end, and all teams are looking for some good games and wins to end the season. They will be facing Victor Valley one more time, and hopefully both of the teams will have a successful game!
