Dear Hamlet
In Mrs. Schrader’s class not long ago, students were tasked with writing a letter to Hamlet himself, and here are some of the best:
Dear Hamlet,
It’s your dear old friend Denise, remember me? I saw your live video “To Be, or Not To Be“ speech. I was really impressed, it was definitely an eye opener but I’m here to remind you why you are living in this world today. This world is filled with many thing whether they are good or bad it’s your perspective but how you look at things is how you’re going to live your life. You’re going to have your good days and your bad days but you can’t let the bad days be the reason you are down. Nothing should be looked at in a negative way, put everything into positive way and trust me you will have a different outlook on life.
Based on what I am hearing I understand exactly where you are coming from but trust me that you are not alone, you never are... especially through your darkest time. I have been there where it feels like everything is falling apart and you just want it to stop. You think leaving this world is the best way to run away from all of this, to leave it all behind but what is running away really going to do ? For all I know it doesn’t resolve anything. But above all I will put my ears up to your chest and listen your heartbeat, then listen to your words and listen to every single one that pours out. I don’t care how long it takes. I want to be there and listen to everything you have to say and when all those words are gone and they’re left empty and bone-dry, I want you to fill them back up with your love and willingness to help them heal. I would walk through fire and swim through floods and journey across the world to be there for you. Don’t forget the people who dearly love and would die with the thought of you leaving this world. Don’t forget who you are and your place on this earth because you were placed here for a reason.
Yours Truly,
Denise Espinoza
Hamlet, many generations of history has given birth to several religions which were caused by a single question. What happens after you die? Although I am sure you know what will happen to you when you die. I wish for you to think about what will happen to the ones around you. Although you may have spite for your mother for marrying so abruptly; she is still your mother. The one who cared for you when you were young and blessed with ignorance. Think of the father you love, would he wish upon you such a death? Would your friends not mourn your death and feel the anguish you feel right now? Though it is understandable the weight you hold on your shoulders, I hope you do not willingly cripple under the strain. For not only would your life perish, but so would the lives you might nurture into the world. You are young and have much more ahead of your life. Your views on life only see the negatives. Although it may not lack truth, but neither does it contain the whole truth. The world contains happiness you have yet to discover. I’m sorry to say you may not find it now, however there is no telling what the future may hold. Live, find what it is that makes you happy. Live and find your meaning.

Aye bro i heard you made a “to be or not to be” video. It was pretty dope but my dude you got so much to live for. Especially since your loyalty you should definitely reconsider what your saying. The world is filled with amazing things. You can afford to travel anywhere you want, you can visit these places. Don't end your life not knowing what you can be as you mature. I know its hard for you right now but you have to just be strong. Plus if you end it like that, it's a sin. I'm pretty sure you don't want to end up in hell. You know i have a valid point here. You're my best friend and i really do care about you. No homo though. But anyways think about Ophelia. She's fire bro and you just gonna end your life knowing this girl loves you. She can be your wifey, start a life together. Yall could run away together and start over. Think just think hard about everything. You have it all my dude, except a functional family but you have friends and a badie girl and that's all you need to be happy. Anyways if you need anything and i mean anything, you hit me up. We can just chill and talk. No homo though. I might not have money but i got many ideas to help you through emotionally and mentally. Stay up my boy text me back when you get this. Peace.
