Princeton Review
If you all are wondering what “The Princeton Review” is, let me be the one to inform you. The Princeton Review is a course session of classes that helps you prepare for the upcoming SAT’s. You usually make a $100 deposit in Mrs. Johnston’s classroom, room 904, and start classes the upcoming week. The Princeton Review course helps you review the overall format of the SAT. The teachers help you with little tricks on how to deal with challenging questions, how to preserve your time while testing, and step by step directions on how to solve difficult problems. They even give you a set of books with sample questions to practice from! Unfortunately the course is only for juniors, so upcoming juniors, pay close attention for the next Princeton Review sign up, for next year of course. This is a course session that you most definitely don’t want to miss out on. The Princeton Review course can actually help you bump your SAT scores up by hundreds of points. This is a great experience that some present seniors wishes that they have taken. One senior, Isabel Garcia, that has taken The Princeton Review course her junior year has said, “Princeton Review was very beneficial to my SAT score; it helped increase my score by 100. I would recommend it to all juniors who wish to succeed on the SATs! Without the Princeton Review I don’t think I would’ve done as well as I did. The Princeton Review goes over strategies you can use to increase your score.” The Princeton Review really isn’t something you should bypass. I mean, you have the opportunity to take 6 classes and 3 practice tests on the SAT and send the scores off to the colleges of your choice. Why wouldn’t you want to do that? To all the students currently in Princeton Review, have fun in your studies and good luck on March 10th’s SAT! And to my future juniors: remember, you don’t want to look back and know you could’ve done better, so the secret to getting ahead is getting started!
