Bias
By definition, bias is a way to describe something that is unfairly prejudiced for or against someone or something.
Certain journalists use this tactic to lure their readers to their opinions or wants. Other writers try to avoid anything that has to do with the unfair method of getting their reader’s attention. In general, it should be banned from any category of writing that is attempting to be considered fair and true to their career. This universal rule tends to go for every reporter, with the exception of opinion columnists. Personal beliefs are allowed into articles if the word “opinion” is in the title of the writing.
Most political articles and/or sectional writings are against any kind of bias or favoritism because of the restraint from swaying beliefs or even just not doing their jobs properly. In certain circumstances, the journalist themselves get their opinions changed and feel it necessary to let their readers know what they think. This kind of writing is not biased, it is simply informational of what is going on in the world.
