Motivation
Everyone has dreams. Everyone has visions, goals, passions, everyone has that one thing they feel they were put on earth to do. The question is, why doesn’t everyone achieve their goals, dreams and passions? It’s one word: motivation. You have to want that one thing, more than you want anything else in life. There’s a story that goes as follows: There was once a man who wanted to be successful. He then went to a guru, and he told the guru he wants to be successful. The guru said ¨meet me at the beach tomorrow at 3.” The next day, he met the guru at the beach. The guru told the man to follow him into the water, then pulled him under the water and held him where he couldn’t breathe for a minute. You may think this man is crazy but he said “When you were underwater, all you wanted was to breath. In order to be successful, you have to want to succeed as bad as you just wanted to breath.”
The problem with people when it comes to success, they don’t fully want it, they just kind of want it. They don’t want it as bad as they want to sleep, party or hang out with friends. Success only comes if you go get it, in order to do that hard work it takes, you must have the motivation. When you wake up everyday, and you look at yourself in the mirror, that is your biggest competition: yourself. You as a human being have to realize, your mindset is the only thing that is going to either make you successful or just mediocre. You want the formula for success? There is none, it’s you versus life and only you determine who’s going to win.
