Spring Sports

Spring is here, the weather is warming up and the school year is near an end. However, sports are still going on. Currently, the Aztec baseball team is sitting at a record of 6-8 and playoffs are indeed in reach. Unfortunately, the Aztecs lost yesterday to the Silverado Hawks 10-1. When asked, certain players feel that this game, they came up short mentally, and they need to regroup. They feel with their talent they can match up with anyone, but they just need to regroup at practice and look into going into next game by bouncing back and making a playoff run. Boys JV is also having a perfect season and are currently undefeated. They hope they can finish this season out perfect. Girls softball has a record of 4-1 , and are currently sitting at 2nd place in their division. Their last two games are against Silverado, the only team to beat them. The Aztecs need to win both of these games to take first place in their division. Show support to our Lady and Male Aztecs! Other sports are also going on including tennis, track and field, and also golf.

Conditioning sports

For those interested in girls volleyball and girls basketball there is currently conditioning going on for both sports. Basketball starts April 17th, and volleyball is going on every Monday and Tuesday right after school. Also, weightlifting and conditioning is going on for football currently, we’re starting early this year!
