Best National Parks in California

California has nine national parks, more than any other in the country. Each park different from the next,they each have their beauty, a hidden gem from each.

   Starting from the southern part of California, Joshua Tree National Park. This park is in between San Bernardino Country and Corona County, known for all of the joshua trees and its rugged area it is also become a ubiquitous with the California - Coachella desert aesthetic.

Pinnacles National Park, is in the counties of San Benito and Monterey County. Pinnacles is a geologic wonderland extensions of Volcanic spires, cliffs, caves and peaks.Also this national park was formed from volcanic activity and granitic rock.

Yosemite National Park, being in 3 counties Mariposa, Tuolumne, Madera county  and stretching 7 miles long is one of the most popular national parks in California. Millions visiting every year for good reason, the scenery is beautiful. Yosemite has high mountain ranges and trees surrounding, it also has two main river systems and nine waterfalls highest being 2,425ft.

Channel Islands National Park, is just off the coast Ventura. Channel Islands is made up of eight islands, only accessible by boat. These island are untouched and have many different trails to explore and caves to see.

Going into the Northern part of California there is Lassen Volcanic National Park is in Shasta, Lassen, Plumas, and Tehama Counties. Lassen Park is known for its jagged peaks, volcanic past activity, and there are steamy waters. The landscape is stunning, in the spring the mountains are spotted with all sorts of wildflower.

Death Valley National Parks, is at the northern part of the Mojave desert bordering Great Basin Desert. Death Valley is well known to be the hottest place on Earth and the driest in North America reaching temperatures to 135 degrees ( wouldn't be fun to be in the summer). But if your willing to go through extreme weather  you'll find so much beauty in the valley, so much wild flower grows it nearly unreal.

Redwoods National Park, in humboldt county, is home to the world's largest trees, Redwoods. Redwoods National Park is along a coast line as well next to the Pacific ocean. Its also home to some of the oldest trees in the US.

Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park, is in southern sierra county. This park has high rising mountains and tall trees - Sequoias.  Sequoia Park is home to the world's oldest tree and this parkhas many creeks too. Everywhere you look there's always something new to see.
