Pounding of the Heart

She exhales against my neck as we hug This is exactly what I felt last night Now we’re just hugging and saying goodbye My heart won’t let go and for her will fight Though she’s walking away to class She makes me soar like a kite I know I love her more than anyone I am her dark and she is my light My heart is screaming to be unlocked “Let me out.
