Dad pleads for help finding missing Texas mom and newborn daughter

On December 12, 2019 a mother and her newborn daughter appeared missing and now the father of the child and the husband of the mother is pleading for the return and safety and is asking his community to help. The mother and wife Heidi Broussard, was seen last Thursday when she was dropping off another child at an elementary school around 7:30 A.M. The Austin, Texas police department believes that Heidi and her newborn daughter went home before they disappeared. The police reported them officially missing at 7:30 P.M. that day. An investigator working on this case doesn’t have a person of interest in the case yet and also isn’t sure if there was foul play involved. The FBI is currently working on the investigation. Shane Carey, father of the newborn and Heidi’s husband, stated that he last spoken to Heidi around 8:00 A.M. the day she appeared missing. He also stated that when he arrived home at 2:00 P.M. her and their newborn wasn’t home. Then the elementary school called saying their son was never picked up from school. When Shane came home from picking up their son, Heidi and the newborn baby still wasn’t home. Shane then stated that there was nothing out of place at home and is pleading with the public for help. As of now, Heidi and the baby are still missing and Shane and her loved ones are searching everywhere they can to bring Heidi and their newborn daughter home.
