If you want to attend this prestigious school, you must have a 4.14 GPA, and you must impress the school with your application. The campus itself is 373 acres and has a total undergraduate enrollment of 6,092. It is known for its drama and music programs, and has 80 majors with 2,000 courses with a student to faculty ratio of 6:1. Yale looks for students who would make the most of the extraordinary resources available, people with no limits to their talent, and those with an outstanding public motivation.
Apart from academics, Yale itself would be considered a fun school with many activities, groups, and many traditions. Some traditions include the Holiday Dinner, First-Year Dance, and Class Day. One of the oldest traditions there is the Whiffenpoofs, which is a capella group. Every year 14 seniors are chosen to be a part of the Whiffenpoofs, where they sing a mixture of Jazz, old Yales tunes and hits from the decade. They have performed more than 200 concerts across 6 continents each year. They even have many sports available, such as golf, tennis, polo, ice hockey and many many more.
