College Spotlight: Azusa Pacific

Azusa Pacific University has been around since 1899. Azusa Pacific is a Christian college and is one of two on the west coast. Azusa Pacific is located in San Gabriel right next to Pasadena. Azusa Pacific University is an evangelical Christian community of disciples and scholars who seek to advance the work of God in the world through academic excellence in liberal arts and professional programs of higher education that encourage students to develop a Christian perspective of truth and life. Although Azusa Pacific is a Christian college, you do not have to be Christian and ethnicity, color and race does not matter. Which leads to the motto of APU which is “ God First”.
Azusa Pacific is a D2 college and offers many different sports such as: Football, Baseball,Basketball, Soccer, Cross Country, Track & field and Tennis. Azusa has over one hundred jobs that are available for all students. Azusa Pacific University offers several campuses (Azusa, High Desert, Inland Empire, Los Angeles, Murieta, Orange County, San Diego and Monrovia) locations throughout Southern California designed for working professionals. While each location hosts different programs, they all provide quality, professional service in an open, relaxed, and personal atmosphere.
