There are many natural disasters that go on in our world, especially today. There have been many conflicts that go on in our world that it’s so hard to keep up with, or even take care of. Many lives are being lost because of these disasters, and that’s what is happening in our world today. For our world news, our topic for this week is Hurricane Dorian. It hit on August 24, 2019. It was said to be that this hurricane was the strongest tropical cyclone on record. Its highest speed was 189 mph, and it was a Category 5 hurricane. Crazy, I know right! It hit the Bahamas, and they haven’t been the same since. They are of course still recovering. There’s many volunteers out there that are willing to be of good service, and to just fellowship their society. This is what has been going on with the world lately.

People have been going out as much as they can to bring them food and supplies that they need to make it through the days. Many lives have been lost from the hurricane, and there are still many more people that are “missing.” Hurricane Dorian has made its way towards North Carolina. Many families are getting prepared just in case it hits, and another destruction upon our world has reoccurred.
